My name’s Rhiz and I set up Moon Materials in 2020. For now, Moon Materials is a one-woman business based out of Leeds that functions alongside my day job.
I’ve been sewing and embroidering since I was around 12 and my mother used to let me sit in her sewing room and use her embroidery and sewing machines as she worked as a seamstress and curtain designer for a large part of my childhood.
I often work with other designers and enjoy supporting them to help grow both of our businesses, as well as working with small businesses around the UK to create affordable merchandise with no minimum quantities for their business.
Working with our businesses is a particular passion of mine as I’m aware now more than ever how difficult it is to get affordable, good quality merchandise as a small business especially with low quantity minimum orders.
